Cirques Relais de l'Hermitage

A paradise for hikers, Reunion’s three cirques are called Mafate, Cilaos and Salazie. Part of the island’s UNESCO World Heritage site, they make for breathtaking scenery. Each cirque is surrounded by rugged escarpments that nature has sculpted over time, and from which lush vegetation and stunning waterfalls can be seen.
Relais de l’Hermitage hotel is an ideal starting point to explore these treasures: enter Mafate from Le Maïdo, barely an hour’s drive away; Cilaos is also only an hour’s drive away; Salazie can be entered via Bras Panon, a two-hour drive from the hotel.
